Overheard in the store today

30ish woman: Did you hear Jack Kerouac died today?

Older man: Yeah I heard that too.

Young child: Who is he?

30ish woman: He wrote a lot of mysteries a really long time ago.

As you have probably heard Kurt Vonnegut died last night. A fantastic writer who will be sorely missed. I wouldn't call him a mystery writer though or Jack Kerouac for that matter. Hee hee...made us laugh in the store today!
